Last summer, my boyfriend’s mom found a small litter of baby bunnies. Sadly, only one survived. This is my boyfriend feeding the bunny he named Bun Bun. Unfortunately, after a few days this was taken, Bun Bun died also :( My boyfriend absolutely ADORED this little guy and buried him in his yard with a beanie baby bunny, (Bun Bun cuddled up with it thinking it was his mother), sitting on top of the dirt to remind us where Bun Bun is :) <3
We didn’t take Bun Bun or his brothers/sisters away from their mother. We kept them right where they were and when we noticed that mother wasn’t returning to her babies, we searched online on how to care for them. Noted, baby bunny survival is slim without their mothers milk and imitating it is really hard. We tried though<3
